No. The API is paid per request using the x402 protocol on Algorand. You call the endpoint, receive an HTTP 402 response with payment requirements, pay a few cents in USDC and retry with the payment header. There is no signup, no API key and no subscription.

What is the difference between an exchange, a broker and a P2P market?

An exchange has an order book, so you trade against other users and the spread is usually tiny. A broker quotes you its own price and earns the spread, which is wider. A P2P market is people trading directly with each other. Rampa labels every quote with its market type so the difference is explicit.
